The Beta Band Live on KEXP
The Beta Band deliver a raw, intimate take on “Dry The Rain,” recorded live at the KEXP studio on October 13, 2025. Steve Mason leads with vocals and guitar, John Maclean adds piano, sampler and backing vocals, while Robin Jones on drums and Richard Greentree on bass round out the sound.
Hosted by Morgan Chosnyk, the session was engineered by Julian Martlew and Jon Roberts (mastered by Matt Ogaz), with cameras rolling under Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht—and edited by Jim Beckmann. Links to the band and station are in the show notes.
