The Beta Band “Dr Baker” Live on KEXP

The Beta Band dropped a stripped-down version of “Dr Baker” live in the KEXP studio on October 13, 2025. Steve Mason leads in vocals and guitar, with John Maclean on piano and sampler, Robin Jones on drums and Richard Greentree on bass—and they all chip in on backing vocals.

Behind the scenes, host Morgan Chosnyk guided the session, audio was engineered by Julian Martlew and Jon Roberts, and Matt Ogaz handled mastering. Camera work by Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht, with Jim Beckmann on the edit. More at thebetaband.com or kexp.org.
