On October 6, 2025, Seattle’s KEXP studio hosted Icelandic experimental outfit múm for a live take on their dreamy new track “Mild At Heart.” Sigurlaug Gísladóttir’s ethereal vocals are woven through Örvar Smárason’s electronics and guitars, Gyða Valtýsdóttir’s haunting cello, Samuli Kosminen’s intricate percussion, plus Gunnar Örn Tynes and Róberta Andersen rounding out the rhythm section.
Helmed by host Kevin Cole, the session was captured by a five-camera crew (Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Leah Franks, Scott Holpainen & Luke Knecht), mixed by Gunnar Tynes, engineered by Jon Roberts and Jason Powers, and mastered by Matt Ogaz—delivering a cozy, otherworldly performance typical of múm’s signature sound.
