Instrumental Music For Introverts

Instrumental music for introverts

As an introvert I like to be alone and to read, or paint or create music. I spent 20+ years with my indie band, where was lucky to write songs and play guitar. But today I'm happy to compose not a songs with voice and lyrics, but instrumental compositions.

I can't tell what style I prefer, it can be Techno and Progressive House sometimes. My idea is to open a new door to my listener, which doesn't like the words into music, to reopen yourself and find out anything new from yourself.

I imagine my instrumental stories as a multicolor candies into a candy store. Anyone has a different taste!

Free That Soul

That tastes as the freedom. This taste is pleasant, but bitter and smells of smoke. I sometimes think that this is what a cigar tastes like at the end of the work week, or a kiss from a loved one you haven't seen in years. The tastes are different. They come with us like memories, and they linger beyond the days.

Here is my favorive Ambient track with no tempo, just a clear imagination. It tastes as the sea, a the long long beach without Sun, with a smell of sea water and and saying goodbye to the past. It's when you walk on the sand by the water and look at your footprints, which are quickly filling with water. And you have euphoria.

Rose Angels - Mighty Demons

A night story before sleep makes shadows longer. That is chocolate smell, brings you dreams you never heard of. That is unusual smell from the unfamiliar Fairy Tale.

Bookmarked this because I plan on checking out your music when I have a sec! I totally get what you are saying and my situation is similar: played guitar in an indie band with vocals, but I’ve been producing electronic music for a while. Mostly instrumental but sometimes with vocals.

As a musician though, vocals and lyrics have always been the last thing I listen to honestly, regardless of genre. I’ll even register the vocal melody before I’ll pay attention to what the lyrics are about. Just how I’m wired I guess. But I think that’s common with musicians. A bass line or what a drummer is doing is way more interesting. That said, there are amazing songs with amazing singers/lyrics that I love. But also plenty where I feel the vocals ruin it!
