Toronto’s The Beaches turned up the heat on NPR’s Tiny Desk with a breezy five-song set spanning their sun-soaked 2025 album No Hard Feelings and 2023’s Blame My Ex. They kicked things off with the irresistible “Blame Brett,” then showcased their full range—from the late-night yearning of “Can I Call You in the Morning?” to the slow-burn power of “Lesbian of the Year” (inspired by multi-instrumentalist Leandra Earl’s coming-out journey).

Closing out with the party-anthem “Last Girls at the Party,” The Beaches prove they’re masters of defiant joy, queer pride, and refusing to ever let the fun end—no matter how early darkness falls.
