The All-American Rejects at Aspen Ideas Festival
Nestled at nearly 8,000 feet on a dusty hillside near the Aspen Ideas Festival entrance, Tyson Ritter and crew soaked up Colorado sunshine (and thin air) for a stripped-down Field Recordings set. Ritter kicked off his shoes, cracked jokes about needing oxygen, and made the crowd feel at home—even with traffic noise buzzing nearby.
Delivering high-energy versions of early-aughts favorites like “Dirty Little Secret,” “There’s a Place,” “Gives You Hell,” and “Move Along,” the band sounded as fresh as ever. Backed by a tight production team (shout-outs to Suraya Mohamed and director Mito Habe-Evans), the Rejects proved altitude can’t hold back their killer vocals and infectious vibes.
