Pulp surprised fans with their first album in nearly 25 years, More, and celebrated with a Tiny Desk Concert at NPR’s D.C. offices. Jarvis Cocker and the band broke the ice by singing “This will be the very best Tiny Desk,” showcasing their signature deadpan humor before launching into a career-spanning four-song set.
They served up classics like “Acrylic Afternoons,” “Something Changed” and the fan-favorite “This Is Hardcore,” then closed with the bittersweet “A Sunset” from More, backed by keys, strings, cajón and plenty of cheeky banter.
