Nova Twins Flip the Tiny Desk Script

London rock duo Georgia South (bass) and Amy Love (guitar) kicked off their Tiny Desk set with “Cleopatra,” unleashing mega-distorted basslines over hip-hop beats and raspy vocals. They plunged into the fierce self-confrontation of “Monsters,” then ducked under the desk to showcase their spaceship-sized pedalboards (they’re “massive pedal nerds,” South boasts) and added otherworldly vibes to “Hummingbird” with a Harp Blaster mic.

With the audience’s help, they cranked it up for a head-bangin’ finale, “Choose Your Fighter,” flipping the script on what people expect from “nice, polite girls.” No frills, just raw energy proving that Nova Twins are here to break every rule.
