The legendary Kronos Quartet, sporting a nearly new lineup (three out of four members are fresh!), just rocked the Tiny Desk again, and they're having more fun than ever! Led by founding violinist David Harrington, they served up a vibrant mix of politically charged classics like Neil Young's "Ohio" and Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit," alongside playful new compositions featuring whirly tubes and nature sounds.
It's clear they haven't lost their touch for pushing musical boundaries, commissioning tons of new pieces, and making us rethink what a string quartet can really do.
