For the grand finale, they crank up the funk on Run the Gauntlet (2024), unleashing a string of virtuosic solos before cozying back into the track’s irresistible motif. Pianist Kris Davis, bassist Robert Hurst and drummer Jonathan Blake turn every twist and turn into an emotional, rhythmic adventure.
