Producers Jonathan Snipes and William Hutson spent months digging through thrift stores for the perfect clinks and clangs, layering them with harmonium, piano, fretless bass and Kid Koala’s turntables on “Night of Heaven” and “Work Work.”
Spanning tracks from 2014’s CLPPNG to 2025’s Dead Channel Sky, Daveed Diggs rides this carnival of noise with razor-sharp verses, summing it up as “needlessly complicated s***.” It’s a thrilling, beautiful reminder that magic emerges when you deconstruct—and celebrate—the chaos of daily life.
