Yin Yin Live on KEXP: “Golden Lion”
Danish outfit Yin Yin took over the KEXP studio on October 1, 2025, laid down a sizzling live version of “Golden Lion” and showed off their dynamic rhythm section—Kees Berkers on drums, Erik Bandt on guitar, Remy Scheren on bass—and Jerome Scheren on keys, all hosted by the ever-charismatic Jewel Loree.
Behind the scenes, audio craftsmanship came from Kevin Suggs with guest engineer Steven Mashaka and mixer Simon van Boxtel, polished by mastering engineer Julian Martlew. Camera duties were handled by Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht (who also edited).
