WITCH Live on KEXP

On September 8, 2025, Tanzanian jam band WITCH stormed KEXP’s gathering space with a tight, four-song set—Kamusale, Thou Shalt Not Cry, Queenless King and Toloka—anchored by Jagari Chandra’s vocals, Patrick Mwondela on keys, Jones on guitar, Tommy on bass and Oli on drums, all hosted by Cheryl Waters.

Behind the scenes, audio wizards Julian Martlew, Brandon Fitzsimons and Jon Roberts (mastered by Matt Ogaz) captured every nuance while Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Leah Franks, Scott Holpainen, Luke Knecht and Ettie Wahl manned the cameras (edited by Luke Knecht).
