Waxahatchee rolled into the KEXP studio on August 11, 2025, and delivered a raw, heart-on-sleeve take on “Evil Spawn.” Katie Crutchfield led the charge on guitar and vocals, with Eliana Athayde on bass, Liam Kazar on guitar, Colin Croom adding dobro and pedal steel, Spencer Tweedy on drums, and Cole Berggren switching between keys and banjo.
