Viagra Boys – “Troglodyte” Live on KEXP

Stockholm’s rowdy post-punks, Viagra Boys, unleashed “Troglodyte” live in KEXP’s intimate gathering space on September 13, 2025. Fronted by Sebastian Murphy, the six-piece line-up (Tor Sjödén on drums/vocals, Henrik Höckert on bass, Elias Jungqvist on keys/vocals, Anton Toorell on guitar and Oskar Carls doubling on sax/guitar) laid down a raw, unfiltered set that’s equal parts snarling attitude and catchy hooks.

Behind the scenes, host Troy Nelson steered the show with a dream team of audio engineers (Kevin Suggs, Julian Martlew, Jon Roberts and guest Christoffer Zaksisson), mixed by Jon Roberts and mastered by Matt Ogaz. A six-camera crew (led by Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Leah Franks, Scott Holpainen, Luke Knecht and Ettie Wahl) captured every sweaty riff, with Beckmann also handling the edit.
