Valerie June took over the KEXP studio on June 23, 2025, with a tight four-song set: the bluesy “All I Really Wanna Do,” the jubilant “Joy, Joy!,” the meditative “Endless Tree,” and a nostalgic “Life I Used To Live.” Backing her up were Jason DiMatteo on bass, Sean Walsh on guitar, John Deley on keys, and Caito Sanchez on drums—everyone pitching in on backing vocals for extra soul.
