Ustad Naseeruddin Saami & The Saami Brothers brought a hypnotic Khayal Alaap in Raag Bhairavi to life in KEXP’s Seattle studio on September 4, 2025. Fronted by Saami’s soaring vocals and backed by harmonium, tabla, sarangi and chorus, the session was steered by host Darek Mazzone, captured by a crack team of cameramen, and polished by engineers Kevin Suggs and Matt Ogaz.
