Ustad Naseeruddin Saami & The Saami Brothers take over the KEXP studio in a live session recorded Sept 4, 2025, with two spellbinding pieces: the meditative “Khaya Alap In Raag Bhairavi” and the rhythmic “Rain Bina Jag Dohki.” Anchored by Saami’s soulful vocals alongside harmonium, tabla, sarangi and chorus from Muhammad Rauf, Urooj Khan, Azeem Jawwad and the rest of the ensemble, it’s a masterclass in classical Sufi fusion.
