KEXP turned its studio into a punk heaven on May 30, 2025, when The Bouncing Souls dropped a raw, in-your-face rendition of “Hopeless Romantic.” Dr. West guided the session, with Kevin Suggs on audio engineering and Matt Ogaz mastering the final punch.

Behind the scenes, George Rebelo laid down the beats on drums, Pete Steinkopf shredded guitar and vocals, Bryan Kienlen anchored bass and backing vocals, and Greg Attonito fronted the mic and guitar.
