The Beta Band brought a laid-back buzz to the KEXP studio on October 13, 2025, tearing into “Dr Baker” with Steve Mason on vocals and guitar, John Maclean on piano and sampler, Robin Jones on drums, and Richard Greentree on bass—plus tight backing vocals all around. Morgan Chosnyk hosted the session as audio engineers Julian Martlew & Jon Roberts handled the mix and Matt Ogaz mastered the final cut, while Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen & Luke Knecht captured it on camera (with Beckmann also doing the edit).
