The Beta Band dropped a live take on “Dr Baker” at KEXP’s studio on October 13, 2025, with Steve Mason shredding vocals and guitar, John Maclean on keys and sampler, Robin Jones on drums, and Richard Greentree on bass—all pitching in background vocals. Host Morgan Chosnyk ushered the session while Julian Martlew and Jon Roberts handled audio, Matt Ogaz nailed the mastering, and Jim Beckmann’s camera crew (with Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen & Luke Knecht) captured every moment, with Jim Beckmann also editing.
