The Armed stormed the KEXP studio on September 16, 2025, to unleash a blistering live rendition of “Broken Mirror” featuring special guest Moe Kazra of Prostitute. Fronted by Tony Wolski’s ferocious vocals and backed by Ken Szymanski (bass), Max Frank (guitar), Patrick Shiroishi (keys, sax, guitar), Abbas Muhammad (drums) and Meghan O’Neil, the band kept the energy dialed to eleven from start to finish.
Behind the scenes, host Troy Nelson guided the session while audio engineers Kevin Suggs and Julian Martlew (with guest mixer Derek Coburn) sculpted the perfect sound, polished by mastering wizard Matt Ogaz. A five-camera shoot—led by Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen, Luke Knecht and Ettie Wahl—captures every sweaty riff, with Luke Knecht stitching it all together in the edit.
