MJ Lenderman – “Knockin” (Live on KEXP)

MJ Lenderman and his crew hit the KEXP studio on September 18, 2025 for a raw, rootsy take on “Knockin.” Backed by Landon George (bass, fiddle), Jon Samuels (guitar), Trevor Nikrant (pedal steel, keys) and Avery Sullivan (drums), MJ’s mellow vocals and guitar shine under host Cheryl Waters’ laid-back vibes. The whole session was captured by Kevin Suggs (audio), Matt Ogaz (mastering) and a five-camera team, then stitched together by editor Jim Beckmann.
