MJ Lenderman Live on KEXP

MJ Lenderman and his band hit the KEXP studio on September 18, 2025, for a tight five-song set—“Rudolph,” “Joker Lips,” “Wristwatch,” “Rip Torn” and “Knockin.” MJ fronts the group on guitar and vocals, flanked by Landon George (bass, fiddle, vocals), Jon Samuels (guitar), Trevor Nikrant (pedal steel, keys, vocals) and Avery Sullivan (drums, vocals), all under the friendly guidance of host Cheryl Waters.

Behind the scenes, audio wizard Kevin Suggs and mastering pro Matt Ogaz made it sound pristine, while Jim Beckmann’s camera crew (Carlos Cruz, Leah Franks, Scott Holpainen & Luke Knecht) and editor Jim Beckmann crafted the visuals.
