MIEN unleashes “Western Shouting” live on KEXP
Captured in a raw, high-energy session on September 24, 2025, this performance—hosted by Jewel Loree—sees the band tearing through their gritty anthem right in the heart of the KEXP studio.
The lineup features Alex Maas (vocals, taishogoto, bass), John Mark Lapham (keys, samples), Rishi Dhir (bass, guitar, keys, backing vocals) and Robb Kidd (drums). Audio was engineered by Kevin Suggs, mixed by Rishi Dhir and mastered by Matt Ogaz, while Jim Beckmann, Luke Knecht & Ettie Wahl handled cameras and Knecht also took the editing reins.
