MIEN Live on KEXP

MIEN stormed the KEXP studio on September 24, 2025, ripping through five tracks—Counterbalance, Mirror, How Could You Run, Evil People, and Western Shouting. Fronted by Alex Maas (vocals, taishogoto, bass) with John Mark Lapham on keys/samples, Rishi Dhir juggling bass, guitar, keys and backing vocals, and Robb Kidd on drums, the band brought raw energy and sonic depth to every song.

Behind the scenes, host Jewel Loree kept things lively while Kevin Suggs (audio engineer), Rishi Dhir (mixer), and Matt Ogaz (mastering) polished the sound. Cameras rolled thanks to Jim Beckmann, Luke Knecht & Ettie Wahl, with Luke Knecht on editing duty.
