MIEN Live on KEXP: “Counterbalance”

MIEN hit the KEXP studio on September 24, 2025, to deliver a high-energy live take on their track “Counterbalance.” Fronted by Alex Maas (vocals, taishogoto, bass), the band’s lush sound gets turbocharged by John Mark Lapham’s keys and samples, Rishi Dhir’s multi-instrumental magic (bass, guitar, keys, backing vox, plus audio mixing), and Robb Kidd’s driving drums.

Behind the scenes, Jewel Loree keeps the conversation flowing, Kevin Suggs captures every beat, and Matt Ogaz brings it all together in mastering.
