Mac DeMarco – “Holy” Live on KEXP

Mac DeMarco rolled into KEXP’s Seattle studio on September 23, 2025, to lay down a stripped-back, heartfelt version of his track “Holy.” Backed by Daryl Johns (bass), Pedro Martins (guitar), Phil Melanson (drums) and Alec Meen (keys), he brings that signature laid-back charm front and center.

Hosted by Cheryl Waters, the session was engineered by Kevin Suggs with mastering by Matt Ogaz. A five-camera crew (Jim Beckmann, Scott Holpainen, Luke Knecht, Kendall Rock & Ettie Wahl) captured every moment, and Scott Holpainen polished it all in the edit suite.
