King Stingray – “Hey Wanhaka” Live on KEXP

King Stingray dropped a fiery live take of “Hey Wanhaka” at the KEXP studio on August 28, 2025, weaving didgeridoo pulses, tight grooves and multi-layered vocals. The five-piece crew—Theo Dimathaya Burarrwanga (lead vox), Roy Kellaway (guitar/vox), Billy Wanambi (didgeridoo/vox), Campbell Messer (bass/vox) and Lewis Stiles (drums/vox)—shines under the watchful ear of host Kevin Sur, engineers Kevin Suggs and Luke Postill, and mastering ace Matt Ogaz. Behind the lenses: Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht (who also handled editing).
