King Stingray stormed KEXP’s Seattle studio on August 28, 2025, laying down a scorching live version of their single “Best Bits.” With Theo Dimathaya Burarrwanga leading on vocals, Roy Kellaway shredding guitar, Billy Wanambi adding didgeridoo magic, Campbell Messer thumping the bass and Lewis Stiles keeping the groove on drums, it’s a wild fusion of rock swagger and Indigenous vibes.

Behind the scenes, host Kevin Sur and engineers Kevin Suggs and Luke Postill captured every punchy riff, while mastering by Matt Ogaz gave it that extra shine. Cameras by Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht—and an edit by Luke Knecht—make this session as visually striking as it is sonically fierce.
