Khu éex’ “Music Heals” Live on KEXP

On June 12, 2025, Khu éex’ descended on the KEXP studio with “Music Heals,” a vibrant fusion of traditional Native vocals, handdrums, flute, rattle and modern rock grooves. Led by Preston Singletary on bass and featuring Captain Raab (guitar/vocals), Sondra Segundo (vocals/rattle), Gene Tagaban (vocals/handdrum/flute), Edward Littlefield (trap drums/vocals), Tim Kennedy (keys), Denny Stern (percussion) and a horn section (Jason Cressey on trombone, Gordon Brown on sax, Kate Olsen on baritone sax), the band ignites listeners with healing rhythms and powerhouse harmonies.
