Khu.éex’ dropped by the KEXP studio on June 12, 2025, for a raw, soul-soothing take on “Lovebirds.” Backed by Preston Singletary (bass), Captain Raab (guitar/vocals), Sondra Segundo (vocals/rattle), Gene Tagaban (vocals/handdrum/native flute), Edward Littlefield (trap drums/vocals), Tim Kennedy (keys), Denny Stern (percussion) and a brass trio—Jason Cressey (trombone), Gordon Brown (sax) and Kate Olsen (baritone sax)—they brought a powerful in-studio vibe.
