Jembaa Groove – Sweet My Ear (Live on KEXP)

Jembaa Groove rolled into the KEXP studio on October 3, 2025, to deliver a vibrant live take on their track “Sweet My Ear.” Fronted by Eric Owusu (vocals, percussion) and anchored by Yannick Nolting on bass, the quintet—plus trumpet ace Peter Somuah, keys wiz Szabolcs Bognar, guitarist Babatunde Agonglo, and drummer Nir Sabag—cooked up an infectious, groove‐laden performance.

Behind the scenes, Lace Cadence kept the energy high as host, while Kevin Suggs (audio engineer), Fabio Buemi (mixer), and Julian Martlew (mastering) polished the sound. Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen, Luke Knecht and Ettie Wahl captured every moment on camera, with Beckmann also handling the edit.
