Jembaa Groove Live on KEXP

Catch Jembaa Groove’s electrifying take on “Dabia” and “Namo,” recorded live at Seattle’s KEXP studio on October 3, 2025. Led by vocalist/percussionist Eric Owusu and bandleader/bassist Yannick Nolting, the lineup also features Babatunde Agonglo on guitar, Peter Somuah on trumpet, Szabolcs Bognar on keys, and Nir Sabag on drums—backed by Lace Cadence’s lively hosting.

Behind the scenes, Kevin Suggs handled audio engineering, Fabio Buemi mixed the session, and Julian Martlew ran mastering. A team of five cameras (Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen, Luke Knecht & Ettie Wahl) captured every moment, with Beckmann also taking on editing duties.
