Jembaa Groove Live on KEXP

Jembaa Groove brought their infectious rhythms to KEXP’s studio on October 3, 2025, performing two sizzling tracks—“Dabia” and “Namo.” Fronted by Eric Owusu’s vocals and percussion with Yannick Nolting steering the groove on bass, the six-piece lineup (Babatunde Agonglo on guitar, Peter Somuah on trumpet, Szabolcs Bognar on keys, and Nir Sabag on drums) delivered an unforgettable, high‐energy set.

Behind the scenes, Lace Cadence kept the vibe flowing as host, while Kevin Suggs (audio engineering), Fabio Buemi (mixing), and Julian Martlew (mastering) ensured every beat and brass flourish shone. A crack team of cameras (led by Jim Beckmann) captured every moment, making this one of KEXP’s most electrifying in‐studio sessions yet.
