Jembaa Groove – “Amale” Live on KEXP

Jembaa Groove rolled into the KEXP studio on October 3, 2025, and delivered a fiery live take of “Amale.” The six-piece band features Eric Owusu on vocals/percussion, Yannick Nolting on bass (and bandleading duties), Babatunde Agonglo on guitar, Peter Somuah on trumpet, Szabolcs Bognar on keys, and Nir Sabag on drums, blending infectious grooves with rich brass and rhythmic flair.

Behind the scenes, Lace Cadence kept the energy high as host, while Kevin Suggs (audio engineer), Fabio Buemi (mixer), and Julian Martlew (mastering) made it sound pristine.
