Japanese Breakfast Live on KEXP

Japanese Breakfast took over KEXP’s Seattle studio on July 19, 2025 for a four-song set featuring “Honey Water,” “Mega Circuit,” “Picture Window,” and “My Baby (Got Nothing At All).” Led by Michelle Zauner’s vocals and guitar, the band delivered an energetic, intimate performance recorded by host Cheryl Waters.

Backing Zauner were Peter Bradley (guitar/keys), Deven Craige (bass), Craig (drums, keys, guitar, vocals), Lauren Elizabeth Baba (violin, keys, vocals), and Adam Schatz (saxophone, keys). The session was engineered and mixed by Jon Roberts, Kevin Suggs, Harry Fore, and Starr McLaughlin, with mastering by Matt Ogaz. Cameras rolled under Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen, Jonathan Jacobson, and Ettie Wahl, and Scott Holpainen handled the final edit.
