Gouge Away Shreds KEXP Studio with “The Sharpening”

Gainesville’s own noise-punk quartet Gouge Away tore into “The Sharpening” live at KEXP on July 23, 2025, unleashing Christina Michelle’s fierce vocals alongside Mick Ford’s jagged guitar riffs, Tyler Forsythe’s driving basslines and Tommy Cantwell’s thunderous drums. Hosted by West Keller, the session was expertly captured by audio engineer Kevin Suggs and polished by mastering wiz Matt Ogaz.
