Frankie Rose took over KEXP’s studio on October 2, 2025, delivering a hypnotic live rendition of “Sixteen Ways.” Backed by Matthew Hord on bass, Ian Campbell on guitar and synth wiz Adam Mitchell (who also handled production), she wove dreamy guitar and electronic textures into a tight, compelling performance.
Hosted by Troy Nelson and sonically shaped by audio engineer Kevin Suggs with mastering by Julian Martlew, the session was captured through the lenses of Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht, then expertly stitched together by editor Carlos Cruz.
