Dominique Fils-Aimé stopped by KEXP on September 22, 2025, to lay down three soul-soaked tracks—“There Is Probably Fire,” “Or Let It Burn” and “Our Roots Run Deep”—live in the studio. Backed by Harvey Bien-Aimée on drums, David Osei-Afrifa on keys, Danny Trudeau on bass and Étienne Miousse on guitar, she brings her signature blend of jazz, blues and folk under the warm guidance of host Larry Mizell Jr.
Behind the scenes, Julian Martlew and Simon Lévesque handled audio engineering and mixing, Matt Ogaz took care of mastering, and a four-person camera team (Jim Beckmann, Scott Holpainen, Luke Knecht and Ettie Wahl) captured every moment.
