Die Spitz Live on KEXP: “Throw Yourself To The Sword”

On September 9, 2025, four-piece power trio Die Spitz stormed the KEXP studio with a blistering live take on “Throw Yourself To The Sword.” Guitarists/vocalists Ellie Livingston, Ava Shrobilgen and Chloe Andrews locked arms with Kate Halter’s propulsive bass, layering tight riffs, driving drums and harmonies into a high-octane performance hosted by Cheryl Waters.

Behind the scenes, audio wizards Kevin Suggs, Jon Roberts and mastering ace Matt Ogaz ensured every guitar squeal and drum hit shone through, while Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht captured every angle.
