Cory Hanson brings Lou Reed to life at KEXP
On August 4, 2025, Cory Hanson took over the KEXP studio for a stripped-down live performance of “Lou Reed,” handling guitar, piano and vocals with Evan Backer on drums and Hazel Rigby on bass. Host Jewel Loree guided listeners through the session as engineers Julian Martlew, Jon Roberts and Matt Ogaz captured, mixed and mastered every nuance.
