Circles Around the Sun & Mikaela Davis Live on KEXP
Circles Around the Sun teamed up with harpist-vocalist Mikaela Davis for a three-track session in the KEXP studio on August 21, 2025, tearing through “Hot Pursuit,” “After Sunrise” and “Moonbow.” Backed by Dan Horne (bass), Mark Levyz (drums), Adam MacDougall (keys) and John Lee Shannon (guitar), the set oozed groove and atmosphere from start to finish.
Hosted by Troy Nelson and captured by a crew of five cameramen (Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen, Jonathan Jacobson & Luke Knecht), the audio was engineered by Kevin Suggs, mixed by Dan Horne and mastered by Matt Ogaz.
