Bambara’s “Hiss” Live on KEXP
Bambara stormed the KEXP studio on October 8, 2025 with a raw, high-energy take on “Hiss.” Fronted by Reid Bateh’s vocals and driven by Blaze Bateh’s drums, William Brookshire’s bass, Sammy Zalta’s guitar/keys/samples, and Lilah Larson’s guitar and backing vocals, the five-piece delivered a tight, visceral performance.
Behind the scenes, host Troy Nelson kept things rolling, Kevin Suggs handled the main audio engineering, guest mixer Alec Rosenberg and mastering engineer Julian Martlew polished the sound, and a four-camera team (Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Luke Knecht & Ettie Wahl) captured every moment.
