Babe Rainbow – “Naxos” Live on KEXP

On August 14, 2025, surf-psyche outfit Babe Rainbow rolled into the KEXP studio for a sun-soaked live take on “Naxos.” Frontman Angus Dowling led the quartet—Jack Crowther (guitar), Elliot O’Reilly (bass) and Timon Martin (drums)—through a breezy, groove-driven performance hosted by Jewel Loree.

Behind the scenes, Kevin Suggs ran audio, Kyle Mullarky handled mix duties, and Matt Ogaz polished the final master. Cameras by Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht (with Scott also editing) captured every colorful moment. Check out more at baberainbow.com or kexp.org.
