Babe Rainbow brought their psychedelic surf-rock vibes to the KEXP studio on August 14, 2025, treating listeners to a live rendition of “Aquarium Cowgirl.” Fronted by Angus Dowling (vocals), the quartet features Jack Crowther on guitar, Elliot O’Reilly on bass and Timon Martin on drums, all dialed in for a sun-soaked sonic ride.
Behind the scenes, host Jewel Loree guided the session as Kevin Suggs and guest engineer/mixer Kyle Mullarky captured every note, with Matt Ogaz handling mastering. Cameras rolled under Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht’s watchful eyes, and Scott Holpainen pieced it all together in the edit.
