Arc De Soleil Live on KEXP
On September 3, 2025, Montreal’s dreamy indie-pop outfit Arc De Soleil took over the KEXP studio for a vibrant four-song set—kicking off with the hypnotic “Bina Tifa,” gliding through “Sunchaser” and “Midnight in Saqqara,” and closing with the shimmering “Lumin Rain.” The band’s core lineup—Daniel Kadawatha (lead vocals/guitar), Joey Howard (bass/vocals), Logan Mackenzie (guitar), Nick Rothouse (percussion) and Rhys Hastings (drums)—brought those tracks to life under host Larry Mizell Jr.’s enthusiastic guidance.
Behind the scenes, engineers Kevin Suggs, Julian Martlew and guest Carlos Martinez captured every nuance, with Filip Antonsson mixing and Matt Ogaz mastering the final audio. The session was filmed by Jim Beckmann, Carlos Cruz, Leah Franks, Scott Holpainen and Luke Knecht (who also handled editing).
