Philly emo crew Algernon Cadwallader stormed KEXP’s Seattle studio on November 5, 2025, to unleash “Shameless Faces (even the guy who made the thing was a piece of shit).” With Peter Helmis on bass/vocals, Joe Reinhart and Colin Mahoney shredding guitars (plus backing vox), Bryce Pulaski on keys, and Nick Tazza on drums, they turned the track’s off-kilter time signatures into pure catharsis.
Behind the scenes, Troy Nelson hosted while Kevin Suggs engineered the audio and Matt Ogaz handled mastering.
