Algernon Cadwallader Live on KEXP
Emo revivalists Algernon Cadwallader stormed the KEXP studio on November 5, 2025, to deliver a raw live take of “Shameless Faces (even the guy who made the thing was a piece of shit).” Fronted by Peter Helmis on bass and vocals, with Joe Reinhart and Colin Mahoney ripping on guitars, Nick Tazza on drums, and Bryce Pulaski adding keyboard textures and backing vocals, this performance captures the band’s signature blend of cathartic melodies and angular riffs.

Hosted by Troy Nelson and engineered by Kevin Suggs, the session was mastered by Matt Ogaz.
