On November 5, 2025, emo favorites Algernon Cadwallader stormed the KEXP studio with a raw, high-energy take on “Shameless Faces.” Hosted by Troy Nelson, this in-studio session was captured by a full camera crew (Carlos Cruz, Jonathan Jacobson, Luke Knecht, Kendall Rock & Ettie Wahl) and mixed live by audio engineer Kevin Suggs before mastering wizard Matt Ogaz gave it that final polish.
The band lineup—Peter Helmis (bass/vocals), Joe Reinhart (guitar/backing vocals), Nick Tazza (drums), Colin Mahoney (guitar) and Bryce Pulaski (keyboard/backing vocals)—brings their signature intricate melodies and heartfelt lyrics to life.
